Emil, a Wheel of Fortune contestant lets out a shout after guessing an almost impossible puzzle.

“Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak couldn’t believe his eyes and neither could the audience after a contestant, identified only as Emil, won the show’s $45,000 grand prize by guessing an obscure phrase with only two letters.

Sajak did a mock frisk of the contestant afterward, just in case the fix was in. But the guess was totally legit.

“Tonight’s “Wheel of Fortune” features most amazing solve in my 30+ years on the show. No kidding.” Sajak tweeted afterward.

A video of the moment is now going viral on the Internet.

The clue for the phrase was a a “thing.” Emil solved the puzzle on the first guess. The answer: “New Baby Buggy.”

Say What?

The show automatically awards five letters to the puzzle–R-S-T-L-N-E. Emil got to guess four more. But only two turned up, N and E.

“Oh no,” he exclaimed when nothing more turned up.

“Vanna? Vanna? Hello, Vanna?” Sajak chimed in.

But the show hostess could only shake her head sympathetically.

“Wow… well,” said Sajak. “Ah, this looks tough to me. It’s a thing; you’re a very good puzzle solver, but I don’t know…” he added.

What’s really hilarious is that his correct guess blew right by everyone one in the studio. There was a momentary time-delay until someone in the control room realized he’d correctly guess it on the first try.
