Jennifer Aniston is once bitten, but apparently she isn’t shy about seeing old boyfriend John Mayer, 32, again on the sly. Rumors are flying that she’s reunited with the singer songwriter.
The actress, 41, is said to be secretly dating the rock singer and rekindled their relationship when he played recently in New York. They supposedly have been in contact ever since, according to London’s Mirror newspaper.
“John invited Jen to come out and meet him while he was in Manhattan,” a source told the newspaper. “He told her he really wanted to see her and even paid for a private jet to fly her from LA.
They spent hours in his hotel suite at the Four Seasons, ordering room service and drinking wine,” the source said.
Jen, however, is still leery about the whole thing to the point that she isn’t ready to go public with the renewed relationship.
“But Jen’s been hurt by him before and isn’t prepared to go public with the relationship just yet.”
According to reports, however, John is chasing Jen, not the other way around.
He has bombarded her with presents, including a $2,000 Frank Sinatra lithograph by artist Todd Goldman.
The rocker humiliated Jen in 2008 when he let it slip that he’d dumped her.
“I ended a relationship to be alone because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. It’s the most normal thing in the world,” he said at the time. “People have different chemistry, they have different lives.”
