Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Moved On Long Ago; Why Can't Tabs?

Fans Can't Let Go, And Tabs Won't Let Them

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart continue to be linked at virtually every turn by tabloids and Web site copycats, but a source close to one of the actors tells IM that they went their separate ways long ago and aren’t in contact in any way.

Stories about the former “Twilight” stars have mostly been fabricated to exploit fans, the source said.

Kristen Stewart Inadvertently Reveals Reason for Robert Pattinson Breakup

A familiar theme is a possible rekindling of their romance. They dated in real life through all five “Twilight Saga” films released from 2008 through 2012.

On screen, they fall in love and marry in one of the most-watched weddings in film history.

But in real life, it was not to be.

The relationship crashed and burned following Stewart’s 2012 cheating scandal with Director Rupert Sanders. The couple tried to reconcile, but split for good in May 2013.

Whatever emotional baggage remained from the breakup is gone now, said our source. “There’s no animosity, no bitterness,” the source said. “They’ve simply moved on with their lives.”

But many fans are so emotionally invested in their relationship, they can’t let go. Still others have broken into warring camps. They’re Rob haters or Kristen haters.

How Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Betrayed Twilight Fans

Either way, they’re still a ready audience for any story the tabloids choose to make up. And, they make up plenty.

Many of the fabricated stories can be traced to a handful of Web sites: HollywoodLife, Radaronline and The New York Post’s Page Six, domestically, and several UK tabloids.

GossipCop recently went to great lengths to debunk the latest fake report. It claimed Rob avoided going to the Venice Film Festival out of fear of bumping into Kristen, who was there.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Tabloid Fail: NO Vancouver Meeting

But it came down to a simple matter of scheduling. Pattinson was in Belfast, Ireland filming his latest picture, “The Lost City Of Z.”

GossipCop noted that they both attended the Hollywood Film Awards last year without incident and without “bumping into each other.”

Even so, dozens of webloids copy-catted the Venice Film Festival story, which was widely propagated by Google.

Even when the stories are proven false, that just gets reported as another twist. The Post, for example, reported that Rob was just using his “The Lost City of Z” commitment as an excuse.

The Los Angeles Times noted that every action and reaction involving one or the other is somehow linked. A recent report, for example, that Rob and fiancee FKA Twigs had cooled their relationship was immediately linked to Stewart.

“They’re not trying to get back together and they’re not trying to avoid each other. None of these headlines are true,” says our source.

In the end, these stories only masquerade as “journalism.” They’re actually a form of “entertainment,” according to one tabloid editor.

The steady stream of “exclusives” from always anonymous sources are designed to tease, enthrall, entertain, and most of all, keep fans coming back for more.

But the truth is, there rarely is any truth.

I agree move on already. Think back to how many relationships you had when you were young. It is unfortunate theirs ended. But they have both moved on and perhaps later in their lives can they be friends again. For now just leave it alone….reminiscing is OK and sometimes people do get back together later on in life……….but it is not happening now so leave them alone already.

The problem is that these disgusting Tabs know that any article they write about Robert Pattinson will get hits from his true fans and will also get hits from the insane Kristen Stewart fans. These women are online all day waiting to bash Rob and his beautiful fiancé. They are sick women who are obsessed with Rob and blame him for ruining their Edward/Bella fantasy. Have you ever read the comment section on Gossip Cop? For some reason they don’t blame Stewart who cheated on him. They seem to block that little fact out of their simple minds. I’m so happy that Rob is finally happy with his life and found his true love. I hope someday soon these 40/50 year old women in need of mental help will focus on Stewart and her girlfriend and leave Rob alone.

Rob fans are just as bad, they have been bashing Kristen for years and can’t seem to move on. Both rob and kristen moved on with their lives, it’s time the 0.01% of fans on both sides who dislike the other move on as well.

I disagree. I’ve never seen a single Rob fan say a negative word about her girlfriend, but there are many, many examples of the disgusting racism of Kristen Stewart fans. Calling FKA twigs “monkey” is not something a normal sane person would do, but her fans threaten her life and her fandom just laughs it off. Now Kristen has become a doctor with her 7th grade education and is telling her fans to stop taking antidepressants. Can you imagine how bad it will be online if her fans stop taking their medication?! Lord, help us all!

          Well said.
