Carey, 40, took a tumble while performing on stage in Singapore, but was helped to her feet by a backup dancer and finished her 90-minute concert barefoot after summoning an assistant to take off the stiletto heels that caused her fall.

After the concert, Mariah thanked her fans via Twitter: “TY SO much to my fans in Singapore!!! Yeah, several hectic moments, (lol!)but I tried to swirl them into festive!”
However, as soon as she arrived back in the United States Sept. 28, she was taken to an L.A. hospital in a wheelchair to treat what her rep claims was a twisted ankle.
“Mariah twisted her ankle in Singapore and should have packed more sensible shoes,” said her rep, Cindi Berger.
Meanwhile, Carey, who has been looking heavy and round recently, has neither confirmed nor denied speculation that she’s pregnant with her first child with husband Nick Cannon, 29.
However, Mariah coyly wrote on her website in August: “I appreciate everyone’s well wishes. But I am very superstitious. When the time is right, everyone will know.”
