Supermodel Gisele Bundchen who is married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has given birth to a baby boy.
The Brazilian model and Brady were married in February and are celebrating the safe arrival of the tot, according to People magazine.
The 29-year-old catwalk beauty was due to give birth next Monday (Dec. 14). Details of when and where Gisele went into labor and the newborn’s name are not yet immediately available.
This will be the first child for the model, and the second for Tom, who has a two-year-old son Jack from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
It was recently revealed Gisele didn’t want to know whether or not she was expecting a boy or a girl even though Tom had already found out.
“I’m really the only one that knows at this point. My dad asked me. I haven’t told him. Gisele doesn’t know. It’s a pretty good feeling knowing something that no one else knows,” Brady said.
“She’s a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out and she didn’t, so she said, ‘Go ahead.’ It will be a surprise for her.”
At eight months pregnant, Bundchen barely looked pregnant and appeared to have kept her baby weight to a minimum. She was spotted around Boston and New York when her due date was a month away.
Brady had jokingly told friends that she could have the baby on any day but Sunday. The Patriots are in the Superbowl hunt again this year.
