Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have reportedly moved into a New York City love shack together, but the report, however, enticing, appears to be false. While the duo are still an item, they haven’t gone that far.

Gomez and the singer, real name Abel Tesfaye, have even talked about starting a family, according to the report in ET Online.

While that may be the dream of every young couple, there are no plans in the immediately future for Selena to get pregnant.

If she did choose to go that route, Selena would have to take extra precautions. Her continuing battle with Lupus could lead to complications.

The ET Online report cited an unnamed source for the report. But IM’s real estate sources did not know of any apartment recently rented by the couple.

The flat is supposedly located in trendy Greenwich Village and costs $16,000 a month to rent.

The report claimed the “low-rise” apartment boasts almost 12 foot high ceilings, with Juliette glass balconies, as well as a master bath with “his and her vanities”, a steam shower and a cast-iron bath.

“Best of all, the master bath is outfitted with his and her vanities, a steam shower and Kohler cast-iron bathtub,” the ET source said. Our source said someone is more likely trying to get publicity for a hard-to-rent apartment.

The 25-year-old singer said in a recent interview she only has “three good friends” she trusts enough to tell everything to.

“You have to figure out the people that are in your circle. I feel like I know everybody but have no friends. I have like three good friends that I can tell everything to, but I know everyone. I go anywhere and I’m like, ‘Hey guys, how’s it going?'” she told Business of Fashion magazine.

Selena is the most-followed person on Instagram, even topping fame whores like the Kardashians.

“it feels great to be connected to people, but having boundaries is so important. You have to have those few people that respect you, want the best for you and you want the best for them. It sounds cheesy, but it’s hard,” she said.
