Jennifer Aniston gave up a marriage to Brad Pitt and children to focus on becoming a Hollywood star, and by in large she’s met her goal. She’s the queen of rom-coms, but does she have any regrets?
Her movies may be forgettable, but there is no denying her star power and she talks about her two-decade career at length in a interview on “Inside the Actors’ Studio,” which also marks a career milestone of sorts.
Sooner or later almost every A-List Hollywood actor appears on the show, from Robert De Niro to Al Pacino. And, Jen takes her place next to those stars.
The episode airs Monday (July 11) at 8 PM on Bravo, and the cable network has already teased some juicy tidbits.
Among some of the revelations, she talks about “Friends,” the hit NBC sitcom that launched her career and the bittersweet moment the show came to an end.
While, most of her cast mates have slipped into relative obscurity, the have also led full lives, marrying and having children.
But Jen carried on with her acting with the dedication of a long-distance runner.
“It’s one of the greatest jobs I ever had,” Aniston said. “It gave me everything. It gave me this ridiculously blessed life and career and taught me so much, and it’s the best time I ever had.”
“The last scene, we just wept, cried our eyes out, in front of the whole show,” she said.
“A couple of us stayed really late and we crawled up to the roof of stage 24 and we drank champagne and just watched the sunrise. It was really wonderful.”
While Jen, for the most part, has proved a staple at the box office, she’s plowed through a succession of boyfriends since the end of her five-year marriage to Pitt.
After divorcing Pitt in 2005, Aniston filmed “The Breakup” with Vince Vaughan, and said the flick was essential in her healing. WTF?
The film was trashed by critics (scoring a 34% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), but was an unqualified success at the box office, grossing $203 million worldwide and solidifying Jen as a box office draw.
Her latest movie, “Horrible Bosses,” also stars Seth Gordon, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Kevin Spacey, and Colin Ferrell.

The writer seems to put his or her opinion as the opening statement. If you look at interviews by Jen and a interview she did with a Greek reporter she clearly states. “I never said I did not want to have children”.
Jen goes on to say,” I don’t know who started saying this but,I am saying myself today,I never said this in my lifetime”. “Childern just never came prior in my life”.
This writer needs to research a person and use true statements and facts when writing. The statement she gave up her marriage and children for a career is FASLE!
Jen gave up a cheating husband who had an affair and got another woman pregnant before the divorce was final.
OH! how quickly we all forget. She must be nice because I would have exposed the pregnancy as solid proof of the true cheat he is!! I would have held it up (divorce)demanded a DNA test to embarrassed their a** openly.
She classy and wanted to move on and so she has.
Took her time dated as single people do before jumping and getting knocked up by the first guy that came along.
Unlike others……….
She’s sacrificed so much for her career. Now she’s reportedly taking a year off from filming. Believe that when I see it. But could she be planning to get pregnant?
Lol…… I’m glad someone else agrees. Everyone around me lovesssss Angelina, like she didn’t have an adultress afair with a married man.
“…gave up a marriage to Brad Pitt and children to focus on becoming a Hollywood star”
Is this writer a joke? FYI, she was a star before Brad Pitt, and she didn’t give up anything. Her a-hole ex-husband left her for a homewrecker.
