Miley Cyrus Shacks Up in New $3.9 Million Manse (12 Photos)

Miley Cyrus is taking a hike up to Studio City, where she’s bought a sprawling California contemporary home for $3.9 million that will allow her to host salvia parties in total privacy.

Miley, who bought the house last month, capitalized on California’s depressed real estate market.

The house originally listed for $4.58 million, and was later dropped to $4.425 million. It spent a year on the market until she nabbed it.

The five-bedroom, seven bathroom property is surrounded by a wall and sits atop a hill, an “astonishingly beautiful setting with lush canyon vistas,” according to the sales brochure.

The gated and walled compound, built in 1952, is located on a private promontory, surrounded by 1.15 acres of lawns and gardens, making it “the perfect celebrity hideaway.”

The contemporary, 5173-square-foot house has an indoor-outdoor floor plan that includes a huge patio with a solar heated saltwater pool.

There’s also a huge “spa-inspired master suite” with a huge bathroom and gym and an expansive professional style kitchen. The floors are dark-stained oak.

The tip off that Cyrus was the new owner is purchaser, the Sunshine Girl Trust, named after one of Miley’s songs.

“She moved in a few months ago,” a Cyrus source tells E! Online. “She decorated the place in her own unique style—very funky.”

With a standard 20% down, the mortgage payment would be about $15,000 a month. Chances are, however, Miley paid cash.

She bought her sprawling $3.4 million Toluca Lake estate just over a year ago down the street from her parents.
