Jennifer Lopez’s stunning breakdown while performing on stage on Saturday night was captured on video and highlights the emotionally wrenching moment when she couldn’t control her tears.
Lopez has been riding a whirlwind since relaunching her career after taking time off to give birth to twins. At 40, her comeback was derided by critics.
But in many ways her show was a watershed. She is back at the top of her game, a glamorous pop star, a hot television personality and a movie actress.
The only element missing–and it’s a big one–is a stable love life.

The 42-year-old star teared up, after performing a rendition of new song “One Love” at Moheghan Sun’s 15th Anniversary party.
“You know what it was? I was standing there and I realised that I did bear a little bit of my thoughts in this song and I acted it out kind of for the audience,” she told Access Hollywood afterward.
“And the way they received it was very touching. I think that they felt what I felt, which was that I’m just a girl like everyone else.”
Later on gossip show Extra, she added: “My life gets great and gets not so great sometimes,” she admitted. “It is what it is.”
Leading up to the performance she had a special message for the audience.
“I’m going to sing you the last song I wrote about love. A lot has changed since then,’ she said.
The tune included dancers portraying some of the loves in her life, among them Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, ex-husband Cris Judd, ex-fiancé Ben Affleck and ex-husand Marc Anthony.
Jennifer is now said to be dating actor Bradley Cooper.
