Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller just can’t seem to ditch her cocaine habit or her nasty disposition. She was arrested last night in Aspen, Colo.
It was in the tony ski resort town that Mueller and Sheen had their big blow up in December 2009, leading to Sheen’s arrest, the eventual end of their marriage and Mueller’s first of two trips to rehab.
She was suffering from drug and alcohol problems then, and apparently hasn’t been able to kick either addiction.
Aspen Police said in a statement that officers conducting “a routine walk through” of the Belly Up bar late Friday night were approached by a woman who claimed Mueller assaulted her.
Police finally caught up with Mueller, 34, at a second bar after midnight and she was charged with felony possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and misdemeanor assault.
Muller’s blow up with Sheen occurred on Christmas Day 2009. Both had been drinking when police were called to their Aspen rental home.
Sheen was arrested for grabbing Mueller by the throat during an argument and threatening her with a knife.
He pleaded guilty to the charge in August 2010 and was ordered into rehab.
Mueller suffered an apparent breakdown in April as a result of an apparent week-long drug binge.
The binge capped a week of bizarre behavior that ended with Mueller in rehab for the second time since 2010.
Sheen and Mueller feuded over custody of their young twins, Bob and Max, and finally reached an settlement for joint custody in June.
The twins figured in Sheen’s most recent meltdown, when the children were photographed with his two mistresses, one of whom was a porn star.
