Kris Jenner Ex-Lover Calls Kim Kardashian Reality Shows Fake

Todd Waterman, whose affair with Kris Jenner ended her marriage to prominent lawyer Robert Kardashian, no longer speaks to her and hates daughter Kim Kardashian’s reality shows, calling them fake.

“There’s no truth to the shows, they’re all pre-conceived. Kris shared that with me once, that they make it up. It’s mindless, it’s nonsense, like ‘Jersey Shore,’” he said in a new interview.

Waterman, 46, an Emmy-nominated Hollywood animator, came forward to talk about the after after Jenner disclosed details about it in her book “All Things Kardashian.” Jenner said the affair started in 1989 after she’d been married to her lawyer husband for 10 years.

Jenner was 10 years older than Waterman when the affair began. He was a pennyless 23-year-old pro soccer player and she was a 33-year-old mother of four children living a posh Beverly Hills lifestyle on Robert’s oversized salary.

They met through mutual friends and after a night of dancing, they kicked off the affair by having sex in a closet. It was the beginning of a tawdry sexcapade that went on for more than a decade. “We had sex in cars, sex on the tennis court, sex in the pool house, sex in the garage when we got home, sex up and down the stairs, sex everywhere, all the time,” Jenner wrote in her book.

The divorce after Robert found out about the affair was “devastating” on Kim, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian. After that, they were open about the relationship. Waterman said it continued even while Jenner was dating current husband Bruce Jenner.

He tried to end the relationship, calling it “no longer practical” but Jenner kept calling until he moved to London to escape her. The last time they spoke was in 2000, he said. “I got the impression that she was open to getting together and then I came back to LA. She never followed through and it’s probably best we didn’t really.”

Waterman says they no longer speak, and he can’t bear to watch any of the reality shows. “I’ve never watched a full episode, I can’t get myself to. It’s not a good show, it’s not good television. It’s horrible,” he said.

“You want to see how they became famous; it was at the death of a friend and a [sex] scandal with her daughter and her daughter’s relations.”

He describes Jenner as avaricious and ambitious. “She wanted to make money, her own money. More power to her, but it’s manufactured and there’s an audience for that unfortunately.”
