The new Avenger photos show Robert Downey Jr. in his guise as Tony Stark, Chris Evans as Captain America and Chris Hemsworth as Thor.
There’s also a new look at Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, the Avenger’s evil nemesis, who’s out to destroy earth.
The film also stars Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and Stellan Skarsgård as Dr. Selvig.
In the movie, S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury pulls together the fractious superheroes to defend the Earth against the powerful Loki. Early glimpses of the film in teasers and trailers shows the heroes don’t necessarily get a long.
In Iron Man 3, Johansson will be returning along with Don Cheadle and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The picture kicks off the summer movie season in May.
