With two small children and her husband’s career to think about, Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren is apparently opting for a loveless marriage. She’s moving back in with him, according to reports.
While Elin appears ready to move back into the couple’s Florida home with her husband, a wall apparently will exist between them.
She is reported to have made the decision after spending time with Tiger during his rehabilitation for sex and/or drug addiction.
The couple will live in their Isleworth, Fla. home where a major argument over an alleged cheating incident last November ignited the sex scandal.
“I call them the divorced married couple,” a source told People magazine.
“Elin knows Tiger has issues and is afraid to go near him romantically. Because of the children and his need to return to golf, she will try to live in the house with a wall between them.
“The marriage is all smoke and mirrors, but Elin will help Tiger rebuild his image and gain new sponsorships because this is what his life is all about,” the source adds.
“She is doing this more for the kids and holding the family together then anything else.”
The source says the relationship will be “platonic.”
Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
In any event, Woods intends to concentrate on golf, rebuilding his game in anticipation of returning to tournament play.
Meanwhile, Woods’ long-time caddie Steve Williams, said he is bitter about the extramarital affairs and knew nothing about them until they were reported in the newspapers.
In an interview with a New Zealand television station, he called the scandal “the most difficult time of my life, no two ways about it.”
“Every single person believed that I should know, or did know, or had something to do with it,” Williams said. “I knew nothing, that’s my answer. I don’t have to clarify or extend that answer, I knew nothing.”
Williams has caddied for Woods for 11 years, said he would tried to do something if he had known the golfer was having serial affairs.
“Of course I’m mad at him, why would you not be?” I’m close with his wife and he’s got two lovely children and he’s let them down.
Tiger’s one of my closest friends and he needs my support right now and I’d never think of walking away,” he added.

Elin Nordegren is Tiger Woods’ saving grace!!! Tiger said that Elin deserves praise and I wholeheartedly agreed. Elin is doing what no other woman would have done under similar circumstances, giving Tiger another chance to put his life back together. Everyone knows that Elin is crucial for Tiger’s recovery, his comeback and his acceptance by the public. Only time will tell if Tiger will change. I hope he does because he has caused his family enough pain and suffering already. I wish them all the best.
