Kim Kardashian Pregnant, Boyfriend Kanye West Reveals

Dropped Bombshell During Atlantic City Concert

kimkardashian-kanyewest-pregnantKim Kardashian is about to spawn, according to boyfriend Kanye West. The rapper reportedly told a screaming audience in Atlantic City that he and the reality star are having a baby together.

This looks like the real deal after weeks of tabloid speculation.

West made the announcement from the stage during his show Sunday (Dec. 30) in Atlantic City. Kim is supposedly 12 weeks pregnant. Sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian along with momager Kris Jenner have been sitting on the secret for some time.

If that wasn’t enough to confirm the rumor, Khloe tweeted a confirmation of sorts. “Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!” she Tweeted.

“Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can,” she added.

Kim is still technically married to Brooklyn Nets basketball player Kris Humphries. Their divorce is heading for trial in early 2013. But she’s been dating West almost since her marriage ended last October.

At 32, Kim is already past her prime child-bearing years. It’s nothing short of a miracle, if the news is true. Fertility starts declining after a woman turns 30, although the change is gradual, according to parents.com.

The miscarriage rate is 11.7 percent. The risk of having a baby with Down syndrome is 1 in 952, and chromosomal abnormality are likely in one of every 385 births.

So, Kim and Kanye are definitely rolling the dice. But her biological clock was definitely ticking. After 35 it becomes increasingly difficult for a woman to conceive and by 38 a woman’s ability to have a baby naturally diminishes substantially, according to the site.
