Kristen Stewart balances an edgy hipster look with upside glamour in a new spread in V magazine. The high-fashion glossy is known for photographing celebrities in risque, barely dressed poses. But not Kristen.
The “On the Road” star manages to keep her clothes on despite embracing on-screen nudity.
She appears in several nude scenes in the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s ’50s novel by the same name. The book set the course for the ’50s Beat Generation and later the ’60s counterculture.
Stewart has also been making inroads into fashion, and wants to make it a big part of her life.

The Times lauded the actress for “wearing exactly the right thing at precisely the right moment.” Although Stewart is still a jeans and tee-shirt girl, she rocked high fashion on the red carpet last year.

That included Zuhair Murad, Jason Wu, Balenciaga, Roberto Cavalli and Louis Vuitton.
She had this to say to the magazine: “I have realized that you can close yourself off to life if you put walls up, but it’s a difficult thing. You can’t see over, people can’t see in, and you also can’t see out. So I’ve gotten quite comfortable with just being unafraid. I keep saying the same thing: it’s not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them.”
For her V magazine shoot, Stewart posed for photographers Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who go by the moniker Inez & Vinoodh. She wears monochrome colors by Victoria Beckham.
