Spring Breakers is a coming of age film in more ways than one for its young starlets: Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and Hudgens.
The film is directed and co-written by Harmony Korine, who is best known for writing the 1995 film “Kids,” a no-holds-barred look at young teens in New York City as the cope with drugs, promiscuity and ultimately the AIDs epidemic.
The film was so explicit it received an NC-17 and made instant stars out of Chloë Sevigny and Rosario Dawson, who play young tough teens.
“Spring Breakers” was thought to be a far less daring. It’s billed as a comedy/drama, but as its premiere date nears, new trailers have revealed that the film may be more violent and sexually charged than originally thought.
One clip has already shown brief hints of nudity, but the photo of Hudgens, provided its her, of course, suggests that nudity will be far more prominent.
In the image, Hudgens is bent over a girl lying on a bed without her top, wearing only bikini bottoms. A large mirror is next to her where the cocaine was laid out in lines. Hudgens can be seen holding a straw to her nose which is aimed between the girl’s breasts.
Speculation on some threads suggests the girl on the bottom is Gomez, but don’t get your hopes up; it’s highly unlikely.
The other girl in the room looks like she’s smoking a blunt.
A red-band trailer, so called because it contains “R” rated scenes was released last week in Brazil. It zeros in on the movie’s violence. The film has an overall “R” rating.
Gomez has warned her younger fans not to see the movie. To see the photo uncensored check out sister site Esscurve. Follow TheImproper on Twitter to keep up with all the latest film developments.
