If the allegations are true, Kim, 32, could put herself at a disadvantage against claims she defrauded Humphries when she married him in an $18 million wedding extravaganza, according to gossip site radaronline.
Humphries alleges that he was tricked into a sham marriage by Kardashian to hype ratings on her show and create a financial windfall from the wedding and a two-hour television special. She announced their divorce 72 days after the wedding. As a result, Humphries wants the marriage annulled on the grounds of fraud.
On the episode in question, Kim claimed that medical tests showed she had “really suppressed” hormone levels because of the years she’s spent on birth control.
“My egg levels came back as a woman that’s in her 50s,” she declared. Only thing is a woman in her 50s is unlikely to be producing any eggs. The odds of getting pregnant are one in 500, according to medical references, providing the woman is still pre-menopausal.
“Maybe this just isn’t in the cards for me, and I’m freaking out a little bit,” she said.
But a source accused Kardashian of “grossly exaggerating” her condition. “Kim’s supposed fertility problems were no where near as dire as she made them out to be,” a source told the gossip site.
“Kim’s doctor assured her that once she had been off the pill for a few months she shouldn’t have any issues conceiving,” the source said.
Kim, of course is pregnant with rapper boyfriend Kanye West’s baby.
The divorce is set for trial May 6.
