Justin Bieber, so young, and already so jaded — but in a good way. Seems like the teen pop sensation doesn’t appreciate People magazine making him look like.. well, a teen pop sensation.
Bieber, 16, who blazed his own trail to fame by posting videos on YouTube, is the cover boy on this week’s issue, and it shows him grinning like a goofy kid from ear to ear.
But the Bieb is demanding respect. He turned to Twitter to let his fans know that, hey, that photo isn’t him.
He tweeted, “Dear @peoplemag Covershoot…next time i laugh real crazy warn me u r still taking pics. still appreciate u but let’s get on the same page.
But rest assured, he’s not a total ingrate. He adds: “EXCLUSIVE story and pics in the new issue of @peoplemag. I look crazy as heck on the cover but if u cant laugh at yourself u aint havin fun.”
That’s called a sense of humor, and it’s great to see he has one. He’s the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend with Tiny Fey.
Anyway, welcome to the world of pop culture, Justin. People magazine is notorious for manipulating cover photos to get maximum impact at the newsstand.
In the issue, , Bieber talks about his meteoritic rise to fame. “What I have is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. And I’m having a blast,” he said.
“I still feel regular. You know, sometimes it’s weird that I go places and I have thousands of people waiting for me, but I always think, ‘I’m Justin.’ ”
Sure, next thing you know you’re going to be demanding only brown M&Ms in your dressing room.
At 16, Justin, bless his heart, still hasn’t adopted rock star pretensions.
Although screaming teenie boppers are ready and willing to throw themselves at his feet, dating isn’t on the radar.
“Right now, it’s difficult ’cause I’m traveling so much,” he said.
Could it also be because you are only 16? Don’t grow up too soon kid.

I think justin bieber is hot,and down to earth,so no one in the world has the right to say anything about him. If I new him I would give him all the support and care he needs. I would so date him!
