“When I smoke, I don’t get that sick feeling I get when I drink, or that anger rising up,” she tells Australia’s Style magazine.
“There’s a reason Bob Marley was like some kind of Rasta Mother Teresa,” Cyrus says.
Of course, Cyrus, who won’t turn 21 until November, shouldn’t really be drinking at all. It’s illegal in California and nearly every other state to drink under that age.
But that hasn’t stopped Miley from pounding beer when she parties. She’s also had a dalliance with pot ever since she was caught taking hits from a bong on her 18th birthday in 2010.
A “friend” videoed the action and promptly sold it to a gossip web site. Miley swore she wasn’t toking on pot, but a legal “herb” called salvia that’s supposed to produce hallucinogenic effects.
On her 19th birthday party, her friends trotted out a Bob Marley cake. “You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake,” Miley said. “You know you smoke way too much fu*king weed.”
When it comes down to a choice between the two, Miley would prefer a blunt anytime.
“I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana — people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care,” she told Rolling Stone in a recent interview.
“I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed,” she added.
Really? Try visiting a local rehab center or a couple of prisons.
