Turned it On Like She Promised For Awards Show

Miley Cyrus hit the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday (Aug. 25) and put on a sizzling show, singing a medley of “song of the summer” nominees, including her own song “We Can’t Stop” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.”

Miley opened with her song, wearing a tiny bodysuit with a drunk-looking teddy bear on the front.

It was fitting, since she was surrounded by dancing pink teddy bears with the same slurred-speech look on their faces. The song has been criticized for its drug references, and the whole number seemed to parody the criticism.

But MTV still bleeped out her singing when she made reference to “molly,” a street term for the drug Ecstasy.

Miley really turned up the heat when she segued into Thicke’s overtly sexual song. She tore off her teddy-bear suit and revealed a latex, flesh-colored bikini.

She mimicked the girls in Thicke’s un-rated video for the song and made some seriously dirrrty dance moves.
