Tiger Woods is apologizing again, and this time wife Elin Nordegren is getting in on the act. The duo have sent a letter to parents whose children attend school with their daughter Sam.
Elin and Tiger express their regrets for the media attention that the school has drawn from paparazzi who have been taking photos of Elin taking Sam to school.
During that statement in which he apologized for his behavior, Woods lashed out at photographers for the photographs and for publishing the location of the day care center.
Of course, the media attention was generated by Woods’ sex scandal and the fact that he hid from public view for 85 days. He emerged Friday to read a statement to friends and select media members.

A copy of the letter was apparently obtained by Florida’s WFTV television news and printed on its web site.
“We would like to share our appreciation for your support over the past several months and offer our personal apology for any inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media scrutiny surrounding our children,” the letter to Premier Academy parents reads.
While Woods has been in hiding and attending a sex rehab clinic at an undisclosed location, Nordegren has been conspicuous in her effort to maintain her normal routine for the sake of the kids. She has been widely praised for her fortitude.
The couple says they are trying to “keep life as normal as possible” for daughter, Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 1.
“For Sam, that normalcy means attending the school that she enjoys so much,” the letter reads.
The scandal erupted early on the morning of Nov. 27 after Woods crashed his SUV into a tree after allegedly arguing with his wife over an alleged affair with New York party girl Rachel Uchitel.
The incident prompted at least a dozen women to come forward or be outed by friends for having sex with Woods during his marriage. He and Elin were married in 2004.
Woods is trying to rehabilitate his image and repair the damage to his marriage but seeking counseling and making the public apology.
So far, Woods and his wife are still living apart, and there have been contradictory reports on the state of their relationship.
Woods said last week that he would return for more treatment on Saturday, and there were reports he flew to Arizona on his private jet.
Why does the press and the media continue to refer to Elin Woods as Elin Nordegren? Mrs. Woods has not used Nordegren as her last name since she got married, so why doesn’t the media respect the fact that not only is her legal name Elin Woods, that’s also the name she uses.

Tiger Woods has apologized to everyone and accepted that what he did was very wrong. Tiger confirmed he needs help and that he is receiving rehab to address his issues. Tiger said he wants to regain balance in his life to save the two things that are most important to him, his wife and his children. Tiger is trying to put his life back together and he has a right to do so. I wish them all the best. It is time that Tiger and his family move on with their life and for the media to get off their back!!!
