Tiger Woods Scandal: No Thaw in Icy Elin Nordegren

Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren is still sending signals that her relationship with the No. 1 golfer is  distant even though he is following up on his promise to seek more treatment for his addictions.

Elin reportedly has returned to Florida after spending a week with Tiger at a rehab center in Arizona. The couple supposedly flew out together after Tiger’s monumental apology Feb. 19 before a select group of friends and reporters.

Elin was reported to be upset with the way Tiger used her name during his statement, and she did not attend the event, although Tiger’s mother was seated in the front row.

Now, new reports say that Elin is not staying at the couple’s Florida home, where the argument took place igniting the scandal. Woods allegedly also took women there for sex.

Instead, she has taken her two children to another nearby house in Lake Butler Sound estates, a gated community about a mile from the family spread outside Orlando, according to radaronline.

Nordegren was also spotted, again, without her wedding ring.

“She’s put the divorce on hold, but she’s not caving in and doing everything he wants,” a source told the Web site. “It looks like they will stay married – but I don’t know what kind of marriage it’s going to be.”

Nordegren’s week in Scottsdale was the longest period of time she has spent with Woods since his Thanksgiving car accident jarred loose revelations about his affairs with a parade of porn stars and party girls.

The Swedish beauty was said to have returned to Florida on Saturday (Feb. 27).

“Tiger is trying to win her back,” a source told the Web site. “He’s being as patient as he can because he knows he caused all this. But he’s not a patient guy by nature.”
