Leighton Meester finally gets a chance to shed her “Gossip Girl” private school uniform for some sexy lingerie as GQ magazine’s “Obsession of the Year,” and it’s obvious to see why the publication is so obsessed. Check out seven stunning photos.
Meester recounts an encounter with an unusual fan, who stopped her on the street. “I’m a Washington, D.C., police officer, he said, “and I tell everybody I’m busy on Monday nights, but I’m really watching the show,” he confided.
She’s definitely every GQ man’s fantasy.
Meester is 23, but looks 17 so there is that whole underage, taboo, vibe going on. Plus, she plays a rich teenaged Upper East Side vamp. Money and sex; what more could you ask.
As Meester sees it, the shoot made her feel “very liberated.”
“I’m a real woman,” she pronounces.
Meester stars as snooty Blair Waldorf, an always well-dressed young woman with all the upper crust expectations of growing up rich in Manhattan.
But the photo shoot gives Meester a chance to let down her hair and show off her sultry side. In the photos, which will be featured in the December issue, she goes through a series of hip-thrusting, spine-bending poses in lingerie.
In addition to the show, Meester is also trying to launch a singing career and is working on a debut album. The record reportedly will be self titled, but no release date as of yet yet.
Leighton sang at the opening of the American Eagle flagship store Tuesday night, and “Gossip Girls” Jessica Szohr and Michelle Trachtenberg were there to lend Leighton moral support.
Jessica told ET, “I am supporting one of my best friends and co-stars.” The actress also promises much more drama on this season of the show.
Leighton will also be making two big screen appearances in next year’s “Date Night” and “The Roommate.”.
