“Remember Me” could be considered Robert Pattinson’s first big outing — not playing a vampire — and the studio, Summit Entertainment, conducts an exclusive podcast with Rob about the film.
So what does Rob really think about the film? In various interviews during a whirlwind promotional tour in New York, Rob said he felt it was a movie that had to be made.
Now in exclusive podcasts, he talks in-depth about the film, its characters, including Emilie de Ravin, and the making of “Remember Me.”
Director Allen Coulter, producer Nick Osborne, and writer Will Fetters joins him in the discussion, in its full unedited, explicit version.
Coulter thinks the movie will give Rob a chance to show a broader range of his acting talents, compared with the “Twilight” vampire series, which he said didn’t give Rob much of a character to work with.
According to early reviews, the “Remember Me” contains more than a few twists and turns, and surprises. Summit has also released a collection of eight film clips of Rob and Emilie to pump up interest in the film.
“Remember Me” is a romantic drama where rob plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has had a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since family tragedy ripped apart their family.
Tyler didn’t think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through, until the day he met Ally (Emilie) through an unusual twist of fate.
Their love blossoms after Tyler learns that Ally shares a similar misfortune in her life. But long buried secrets soon upend their romance, and circumstances start tearing them apart.
The is part one of a three part series and focuses on the origin of the film. Check back for part two about Tyler, and part three about the chemistry between Rob, Emilie and Ruby Jerins. We’ll post the next two podcasts as soon as they are available.
