Kate Upton was a standout in Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue, so much so, she was named “Rookie of the Year.” She’s been called the next big supermodel, but she’s becoming better known for the “Dougie.” The What?
Upton, just 18, who has also been rumored to be dating singer Kanye West was videoed doing the “Dougie” over the weekend and the clip is rapidly going viral on YouTube.
For the uninitiated, the Dougie is a dance craze spawned by Cali Swag District’s hit “Teach Me How to Dougie.”
It all started during a break at an L.A. Clippers game.
Kate and colleague Damaris Lewis were being filmed doing the dance, during a break in the game, but only Upton let loose.
The St. Joseph, Michigan teen exuded a carefree exuberance that only someone her age can do.
Upton, who is five-feet, ten-inches tall, literally danced as if no one was looking. Only, someone was not only looking, but capturing it on video.
Upton has a limited resume; she is 2010-2011 face of Guess? and has modeled for Beach Bunny swimwear and Victoria’s Secret.
