Caity Lotz played Stephanie, Anna Draper’s niece on only three episodes of the hit show “Mad Men.” But she left an memorable impression, and you can see why in Esquire magazine’s latest “Me in My Place” feature.
Caity is an uninhibited California girl with a brain. And, her character is the only woman Don Draper could never get.
But Caity is nothing if not hospitable at home. She relaxes in her underwear and not much else for the regular magazine feature.
The 25-year-old San Diego native started out as a dancer and has performed with Avril Lavigne and Lady Gaga.
Her acting resume is pretty thin at the moment, but that’s probably about to change.
Aside from her turn in “Mad Men,” she’s also appeared in one of the “Bring It On: All or Nothing,” movies. (There were four!) They’re about teen cheer leaders and starred Hayden Panettiere and Solange Knowles, Beyonce’s kid sister.
She’s also appeared on “Law and Order Los Angeles,” and MTV’s “Death Valley.”
Mad Men, she says, was her first “real” acting job. “I started as a dancer, so I hadn’t even done a student film before that. I didn’t even really realize what a huge show it was,” she says.
“I wouldn’t have minded being able to kiss Jon Hamm. I was definitely a little smitten,” she adds.
She’s also starred in the MTV show “Death Valley.”
“I fought this werewolf, and he was picking me up and slamming me down. They put padding down in the garbage so he could really slam me down.
“They’re flying around and I’m doing these jumping flying triangles pulling the guy down. It’s just fun,” she says.
Talking about fun, getting invited over to her pad, now that would be fun. Check out her photos, click to enlarge.
