Daisy Lowe, daughter of English singer-songwriter turned fashion designer Pearl Lowe and rocker Gavin Rossdale, is a funky chic sophisticate in a new photo shoot for UK magazine Schön.
The rock n’ roll flower child turned fashion model is best known for modeling sans the fashion in such publications as Playboy, which she called one of her toughest shoots ever.
Lowe, 22, also graced the iconic 2010 Pirelli calendar, which is know for featuring the most beautiful models in the world au naturel.

In her shoot for Schön!, she poses for photographer Yuval Hen and is styled by the bi-monthly magazine’s own Kay Korsh.
Her clothes are described as retro-influenced pieces from Ralph Lauren, Marni, Gareth Pugh and Roberto Cavalli. She wears a slick pin-up hairdo and dark lips.
Marc Jacobs is her favorite designer, “and he’s hot, as well,” she tells Schön! And, she thinks Rihanna is the hottest woman in the world right now.
Daisy was the product of a one-night stand between her mother and Rossdale, who has often been rumored to be gay.
He admits to some homosexual dalliances, but is currently married to No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani.
Lowe says she only found out when she was 15 that Rossdale was her biological father. She had always called her mother’s current husband, drummer Danny Goffey daddy.
“My whole life I thought my father was someone different. But Gavin and Gwen are really good people, and I value so much the time we get together,” she said.
“After seven years we’ve worked out how to be a family. I guess you can’t deny my rock-and-roll heritage! Both my parents – or all four of them – have done well in the music scene,” she said.
“I’ve grown up with rock and roll, but that’s not who I am. People think rock chick is code for ‘parties hard.’ But I don’t. In reality I’m a homebody.
Lowe may be low key, but she’s also free spirited and certainly comfortable in her own skin.
