Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Get South Park Send-Up; Hilarious!

Show Targets Superficiality, Celebrity Obsession

Kanye West does his best to explain why fiancee Kim Kardashian is not a Hobbit.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West can check another item of their bucket list. They were spoofed on “South Park’s” Dec. 11 season finale. The cutting, satirical show, well, cut right to the bone. He’s a buffoon and she’s a Hobbit. Ouch!

The premise was Time magazine’s Person of the Year awards show, if they even have one. You may recall Pope Francis edged out Miley Cyrus.

As the Pope takes the stage to accept the award, West’s character bounds up and grabs the mic, a la Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. He launches into one of his trademark rants. Only he finds himself at a loss for words.

Yeezus! Kim is telling him what to say over his cell phone.

“No one is talking any more sh*t about my woman, all right?” Kanye rants. “She is gorgeous.” Right, he’s got the message.

The episode, of course, is really a send up of superficiality and celebrity obsession. But no need to go into messy details.

The whole issue was kicked off when Butters poo-pooed Lisa for being “too fat.” Seems his vision of the ideal body shape is Kim’s. Wendy chimed in that the five-foot, one-inch tall reality TV personality was really a Hobbit.

While Kanye’s character hotly defended his financee, he let slip that her show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” is really about ”short, loud little people living in a fantasy world.” (That’s why he calls himself a genius).
.
Kanye eventually grouses that Kim will never live up to Beyoncé, who is married to best friend rapper Jay-Z. But in the end, he’s ok with it.
