Robert Pattinson reveals that he can pee for four minutes, is enthralled with scandals and is smitten with his girlfriend and co-star Kristen Stewart. After umpteen interviews he may be running out of things to say.
The latest interview in Black Book magazine was probably his most ridiculous yet. But it’s hard to fault him. He’s been giving interviews almost non-stop since the Cannes Film Festival in May.
He’s been promoting his latest film “Cosmopolis” almost non-stop and will likely go right into promotion for the final chapter of the Twilight series, “Breaking Dawn, Part 2,” which hits theaters in November.

Rob is at a critical point in his career as well. “Cosmopolis” is his first serious picture an he’s nervous about it. After its premiere at Cannes, “I was kind of shitting myself..I lost my mind,” he said.
“I was preparing myself to fight with 1,500 people. I was so amped up…I was just kind of running around with my pants down and my shoelaces untied and, amazingly, not falling. Until this. I thought, ‘Oh fuck!’ Most people get 15 years of doing movies nobody sees. Now I’m at Cannes.”
Rob is so low key it took an unusual experience for him to realize he’s famous. “The first time anyone said anything about my being famous was when I tried to buy a car a few years ago. It was an ’89 BMW convertible for $1,000 I found on Craigslist.
A few days later I went back to pick it up. I had said I was an actor and the guy had looked me up. When I went back, he said, ‘Dude, do you realize you’re No. 2 on IMDB?’ I thought, ‘Shit, now I can’t ask for the 200 bucks off.’”
Interview after interview has blurred the line between reality and tabloid rumor for the star. “There was a magazine, with these pictures, saying I was getting married. No one ever knows what is true or what isn’t. Even my own mum called to ask me if it was true,” he says.
These days, he’s bound to say almost anything in an interview. “I once started a rumor on ‘Entertainment Tonight’ that there was a deleted scat sex scene in ‘Twilight’ and it didn’t even get picked up” he says. “I thought, ‘What the fuck? I’m giving you this stuff!’” he adds likely exaggerating to make a point.
“You try to say things in the perfect way but you know unless you say something stupid, from which people will make you look like a dick, you’re not going to have sound bites. And if you don’t say anything stupid, someone’s going to make something up anyways.”
Gotta love the tabloids. Check out his photos and for more of the interview go here.
