Kim Kardashian says her life is about to become less of an open book even as she poses for her first “pregnancy photoshoot” for duJour, a new print-digital hybrid magazine from Jason Binn, who once published a number of coffee-table luxury magazines like Hamptons and Ocean Drive.
Kim says she has come to value her privacy more now that she is dating rapper Kanye West, who is her baby daddy.
The two are unmarried and Kim is still fighting to get divorced from her 72-day marriage to pro basketball player Kris Humphries.
“I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities.”

Kim even hinted that she may give up her reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” in 2014. But the talk may be just more tabloid fodder. Last April, the Kardashian family (Kim included) re-upped to do the show on the E! Network at least through 2015 for an estimated $40 million.
She calls the show the ultimate home movie, but says fans are never satisfied. “When you live your life so publicly, like on a reality show, people assume that they know every side of you already. But they always want more,” she tells the magazine.
She says doing a TV show with your family, makes it “really hard to hide or be guarded.” But her estranged husband claims that the reality show is mostly staged and claims he was a pawn in Kim’s scheme to make boatloads of money off a wedding extravaganza.
As a result, he’s demanding an annulment on the grounds of fraud. A judge has set a trial date in May.
In her photo spread, shot by well-known photographer Bruce Weber Kim wears a white floral two-piece bathing suit with a sarong. The shoot took place back in January before Kim was really showing, but after West announced her pregnancy during one of his concerts. By then, though, she had gained weight.
