Rapper Gucci Mane, aka Radric Davis, is facing trial on aggravated assault charges.

Gucci Mane, an Alabama rapper who caught the wave of southern rap in the mid-2000s, is facing criminal charges for aggravated assault stemming from a confrontation last month. He allegedly hit a soldier with a champagne bottle at an Atlanta, Ga., club.
