Kiernan, 14, had a recurring role as a part-time cast member for the first three seasons, but has been a regular since season four as her character matured.
Kiernan has had to deal with some emotional grown up issues on the show.
Sally is buffeted by the death of her grandfather, with whom she was very close. Later she is distraught over Don and Betty’s divorce.
She has her own experience with relationship that Betty discourages and establishes a solid relationship with her father’s new wife, Megan Calvet (Jessica Paré).
The event, held at the Dolby Theatre yesterday (Mar. 21) in Hollywood included a panel discussion with Kiernan, Jessica, Jon Hamm (Don Draper), Vincent Kartheiser (Pete Campbell), Elisabeth Moss (Peggy Olson), Christina Hendricks (Joan Harris) and Robert Morse (Bertram Cooper).
Kiernan looked older than her age in a Dolce & Gabbana sleeveless dress with shoulder straps that fell to just above the knee. The subtle almond color and pink blossom print highlighted her youthfulness.
She accessorized with metallic gold ALDO “Margetts” sandals and wore minimal makeup, a smart move that accentuated her freshness.
She topped off her look with lip gloss to add a touch of glamour.
