Thylane Blondeau, the French kiddie model who raised eyebrows three years ago with her very adult photo spread in Paris Vogue, is back, this time, on the cover of another French women’s magazine, sparking new outrage.

Blondeau, who is now 13, covers French arthouse fashion magazine Jalouse, which proclaims her the next Kate Moss.

The cover, released today (Mar. 25) is already sparking outrage because Blondeau once again is photographed in a very adult pose. Comparing her to Moss is even more disturbing.

The English model, who is now 40, ushered in fashion’s “heroin chic” look in the 1990s, an era marked by super-thin, waif-like models from which the industry has yet to fully recover.

Moss was also the queen of nude modeling, appearing topless or nude in countless fashion spreads and high-concept photo studies.

Whether the 13-year-old model is choosing the same route remains to be seen. But she’s definitely blazing a trail for younger and younger models in adult fashion, a trend that began largely in France.

TheImproper first reported on Blondeau, who was 10 at the time, in 2011. She’d already appeared in sexy, even topless photo shoots,

Her debut in Paris Vogue, edited by top designer Tom Ford, featured her in full make up, plunging gold lamé gowns and high heels among other adult-looking outfits.

It caused such an uproar it forced the young model’s TV-personality mother to close her fan site on Facebook, amid concerns over creepy child objectification.
