Emma, 23, turned out for the New York City premiere in a black Duchess satin dress by Oscar de la Renta that was absolutely funereal.
But last night was another premiere, and thankfully, another designer. Emma chose a Ralph Lauren Collection gown that accentuated her best features: her sexy broad shoulders, her tiny waist and flashes of her toned legs through a thigh-high slit.
The backless dress showed just the right amount of skin without giving away anything that would make the tabloids salivate. She was the epitome of sexy, contemporary style.
The film, based on the Biblical tale of the great flood, is her first big-budget movie since Harry Potter. Although her role was secondary, she relished the part.
“She’s got such a huge heart. She’s very wise, very relatable,” she said.
She also praised he cast’s main stars, Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Connelly and Ray Winstone, calling them an “opportunity to work with people who really are at the top of their game.”
The film was released nationwide over the weekend and finished No. 1 at the box office, edging out Shailene Woodley’s sci-fi thriller “Divergent.”
