Lady Gaga added a first to one of her last shows at Roseland Ballroom in New York City last night (Apr. 2). She got David Letterman to leave his studio and saunter across the street to catch her act.

It was the first time that Gaga has ever appeared on “Late Night With David Letterman.”

Dave was joined by actor Bill Murray, whose been checking off items on his bucket list on the show. One of them was to meet Lady Gaga.

Dave was joined at the storied music venue by the entire “Late Show” audience. The Ed Sullivan Theater in Midtown Manhattan here Dave tapes his show can seat up to 400 people, according to its Web site.

Gaga extended the invitation to Dave the night before (Apr. 1). It was no April Fool’s joke.

Gaga performed two of her latest songs, “Dope” and “G.U.Y.”

At the end of her second number Dave and Bill walked on stage. Gaga was still in the arms of one of her dancers.

Gaga will be the last artist to perform at Roseland. After her run of shows is finished this weekend, the music venue will be torn down to make way for a new highrise building.
