Miley Cyrus is in the hospital, but appears to be in good spirits after she reportedly suffered “a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics” she was taking after reporting flu-like symptoms during her Bangerz tour.

Antibiotics aren’t typically prescribed for the flu, but Miley also complained of sinus problems and a sore throat last week.

Miley 21, was forced to cancel a show in Charlotte, NC, but resumed her tour in Raleigh, Apr. 8, and has done several shows since then. At the time, she Tweeted that she was in “excruciating pain.”

This time around she was forced to cancel her show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.

“Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled,” her rep said in a statement released to the media.

Miley, ever the trouper, reached out from her hospital bed. “Kansas I promise Im as (heartbroken) as you are,” she wrote.

“I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel s–ttier than I already do,” she added yesterday (Apr. 15).

She also sent out a photo from her hospital bed. “Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me,” she wrote.
