Amy Poehler, Will Arnett Make It Official: Divorce Papers Filed

Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have finally decided to pull the trigger on a divorce after spending most of the last two years separated and seeing other people.

They were married for almost a decade, lengthy by Hollywood standards, when the pulled the plug on their relationship in Sept. 2012.

Divorce papers were unearthed yesterday (Apr. 16) by gossip site TMZ. Will, 43, officially filed seeking joint custody of their two boys, Archie, five, and Abel, three.

It’s the second marriage for Arnett, who divorced his first wife in 1995. It was Poehler’s first marriage.

Arnett was dating Billy Joel’s ex-wife, Katie Lee, a celebrity chef, and is now reportedly dating Erin David, a Hollywood producer.

Lee and Joel divorced in 2009 after five years together.

Poehler, 42, is reported to be dating comedian Nick Kroll, 35.

Arnett and Poehler, married in August 2003, had a typical Hollywood marriage that mixed business and personal lives, not always a good combination.

They appeared together on his television show, “Arrested Development,” and he guest-starred on her show “Parks And Recreations.” They also appeared together on the big screen in “Blades of Glory” and on Broadway in “Spring Breakdown” and “Monsters vs. Aliens.”

Will has also been a guest star in Parks And Recreations, Amy’s hit NBC show.

Poehler has been ubiquitous recently in television commericials for Old Navy.
