Joel McHale skewered President Obama and celebrities during his keynote address at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., Saturday night. Who knew laughing could hurt so much.

McHale, best known for hosting E! TV series “The Soup” and the NBC comedy series “Community,” made pointed jokes about ObamaCare and the prison at Guantanamo Bay.

He lauded the president’s ability to “still bring it” with “fresh hilarious material.”

“My favorite bit of yours is when you said you’d close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay. That was a classic,” he jibed.

Closing the facility was one of Obama’s key campaign pledges in 2008. Of course, it’s still open.

“That was hilarious, hilarious. It’s still goin'” he poked.

During his 20-minute address, McHale had no shortage of material.

He also fired off zingers at Joe Biden, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

But it wasn’t all about politicians he also lampooned Kim Kardashian’s clan, Jessica Simpson and George Clooney.

McHale, who appears on the same cable network as reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” revealed that the reality personalities are closet Republicans. “I know, because they are always trying to screw black people,” he chortled.

You see, Kim and sister Khloe Kardashian only date African Americans. Get it?

Wow? Did he really say that? Yes, and much more.
