Amanda, 28, is amazing low-key in her personal life and may not be getting the recognition she deserves.
But she’s been one of Hollywood’s most high-profile actresses on the big screen, making at least three pictures a year. And, the range she’s displayed over the years is nothing short of incredible.
Going back to her break-through role in 2004’s “Mean Girls,” she’s starred in wholesome big-budget movies like 2008 “Momma Mia!” to erotic thrillers like “Chloe” in 2009.
She was a standout in the ensemble cast for 2012’s “Les Misérables” as Cosette. And she transformed again to play Linda Lovelace in the rracy biopic “Lovelace,” last year.
She’ll appear this year in “A Million Ways to Die in the West” and has two other films on tap.
In Elle UK’s June issue, she talks about the pressures actresses face in Hollywood to project a certain pre-defined beauty.
“I would be lying if I said I wasn’t constantly aware of what I’m doing with my body,” she tells the magazine.
I don’t have to look like a supermodel. I don’t have to have those abs; the camera doesn’t see that.”
If she had to pick, Seyfried says model and actress Kate Upton is “the new image of beauty.”
Amanda also has an eye for fashion. She’s been photographed on the red carpet in everything from Givenchy Couture at the Golden Globes to Alexander McQueen at one of her “Les Misérables” premieres.
For the magazine’s cover, photographer Kai Z Feng captures her alluring look in a Roberto Cavalli jacket and Melissa Odabash bikini.
