Jennifer Lawrence strikes a pose for Marie Clarie magazine. She addresses reports about a new feud with Kristen Stewart.

Jennifer Lawrence said she knew she’d made it in Hollywood when tabloids started making up stories about her. But one tabloid fantasy that won’t go away is her purported feud with “Twilight’s” Kristen Stewart. So, what gives?

It started earlier this year, when sketchy tabloid reports appeared that they were feuding over their franchise films.

As the story goes, Lawrence was attempting to push Stewart aside as the new Hollywood “glam girl,” now that “Hunger Games” had supplanted “Twilight” as the hit new franchise movie.

At the time the story broke in March, Lawrence told “Access Hollywood” (see video below) she’d never even met Stewart.

So she sent her an email just to let he know the story, as usual, wasn’t true. Kristen wasn’t surprised. Her response was more or less, Welcome to Hollywood.

Now the latest reports claim that Lawrence is insanely jealous of Stewart because the “Camp X-Ray” star is filming the upcoming sci-fi romance “Equals” with her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

“There was something in a magazine, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, that’s hilarious,’ because Kristen and I are friends.” she said in the new issue of Marie Claire magazine.

“I actually texted her a picture of it and was like, ‘Just so you know, this is absolutely true.'” she joked.

Lawrence says her often long-distance relationship with Hoult works because they are both on the same page about it.

“When we’re busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other. Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn’t text back or call,” she says. “Life’s super-busy. Obviously you know what they’re doing, and you trust them,” she says.
