Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler proved without a doubt that old rock stars never die, they just forget the words to their biggest hit songs.

Tyler, who is 66, but still looks every bit like a glam rocker, was enjoying the sights in Lithuania where the band recently toured.

He came upon two female street musicians, who started performing “Crazy” from Aerosmith’s 1994 mega-album Get a Grip.

Tyler shares writing credit for the song with bandmates Joe Perry and Desmond Child.

The tune also should have been memorable because Steven’s daughter, Liv Tyler starred in the band’s acclaimed music video with actress Alicia Silverstone.

If that’s not enough, Aerosmith’s performance of the song also won a 1994 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo Or Group With Vocal.

And, the band has played it on nearly every tour since 2007. So you’d think… you’d think, the lyrics would be burned into Tyler’s brain.

As the girls played, he busted out singing the lyrics, and right on key! But that only lasted for a verse.

Then, well, you know, he had to fake it. And does a damn fine job! Even if he looks a little chagrined.

Nothing like starting something you can’t finish, although he adds a cool falsetto flourish at the end.
