Mackenzie Foy, who played a pivotal role in the “Twlight” movie saga, sparkled at the premiere of her new movie “Interstellar” last night (Oct. 26) in Hollywood.

Foy, who turns 14 next month, played Renesmee Cullen, the daughter of “Twilight” vampires Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part 2.”

She was 10 when the movie was filmed. Her character had a pivotal role in the scene because of her birth as half-human and half-vampire sparked a showdown between the Cullens and the Volturi.

her career actually began before that in television. She appeared in small part in “Til Death,” when she was nine. She also had roles in
“FlashForward” and “Hawaii Five-0” the following year.

Last year she appeared in horror flick “The Conjuring” and did a couple of other television movies before landing her part in “Interstellar” with Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Ellen Burstyn.

Foy and Chastain share roles as the young and the grown up Murph, the daughter of McConaughey’s character Cooper.
