Meryl Streep works her evil magic as the wicked witch in a new trailer for Disney’s “Into the Woods” and looks like she’s going to steal the film from an all-star cast that includes Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick and Emily Blunt.

“Into the Woods” is a mash-up of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales that are interwoven into a seamless brew of Disney wonderment.

Set to music, it combines the tales of “Cinderella,” played by Kendrick, Lilla Crawford as “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Jack and the Beanstalk” with Daniel Huttlestone as Jack and “Rapunzel” played by MacKenzie Mauzy.

Depp makes a cameo appearance as the Big Bad Wolf.

Blunt and James Corden, play a baker and his wife, who set everything in motion by summoning Streep’s witch to help break a family curse. She sends them on a mission to collect something from each of the fairy tale story characters.

Rob Marshall, best known for Oscar-winning musical “Chicago” and Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” directs.

James Lapine, penned the screenplay and wrote the original Broadway musical. Stephen Sondheim provides the music and lyrics.

The Broadway musical premiered on Nov. 5, 1987, ran for 764 performances, and won Tony Awards for Best Score, Best Book of a Musical and Best Actress in a Musical.

The movie hits theaters on Christmas day.
