Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth surprise the comedian as he begins his acoustic version of 1989.
“It was 25 years, almost to the day, since I first hosted ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 1989. Now I just heard Taylor Swift’s new album, which is called 1989.
“But with all due respect to Ms. Swift I think I know a little bit more about 1989 than she does,” he said.
With that someone handed him a guitar. Even if the memories are a little fuzzy… because of the drugs,” he added opening his song.
But things slowly started coming back to him. Like how much cocaine he did. And, his tenure on the hit TV show “Cheers.”
“I think I drank a million beers.”
“Then, I got a blank space baby, because I did cocaine. Just a little bit, you know, since it was 1989.”
With that, out came “Hunger Games” cast mates Hemsworth and Hutcherson, neither of whom was alive in 1989. Lawrence followed a moment later dressed in a super hot strapless pantsuit. Woody bowed at her feet and nibbled on her knees.
“I can’t believe it, the real Taylor Swift!” Harrelson yelled.
“Woody, I’m not Taylor Swift, I’m Jennifer; we’ve done about 10 ‘Hunger Games’ movies together.”
Would Jennifer actually sing along, after she told David Letterman she couldn’t carry a tune?
