Because of the movie’s emphasis on youth an it’s large cast, the premiere brought out some of the hottest young stars in Hollywood.
Lawrence, 24, led a long list of cast members who turned on the glam for the signature event leading up to the movie’s release this Friday (Nov. 21). The young stars went all out to turn the premiere into a true Hollywood event.
But it wasn’t all about the young. Julianne Moore, 54, who plays President Alma Coin in the movie, was stunning in a sleeveless black-sequined Tom Ford gown with a plunging neckline.
She accessorized with Tom Ford shoes and clutch and Boucheron jewelry.
Still the night belonged to Young Hollywood.
Malone wore a stunning red satin Ungaro gown with a split that showed off her creamy legs. A little cleavage would have helped that look. She accessorized with Charlotte Olympia shoes, Jil Milan clutch, David Webb jewelry, with vintage Tiffany’s from Beladora earrings.
Dormer wore a stunning ensemble that flashed some cleavage and a peek at her midriff in a Rocha Resort 2015 gown featuring an inverted V-shaped cut-out and skirt, She finished the look with Pomellato jewels and Sophia Webster shoes.
Elizabeth Banks wore a stunning print Leonard dress with an asymmetrical skirt, Roger Vivier shoes, Rauwolf clutch, and Broken English jewels.
It wasn’t all about the cast at the premiere.
Jessica Simpson stole more than a few glances on the red carpet wearing a vintage gold off-the-shoulder gown with a thigh-high split. She added Prada shoes, a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, and Neil Lane jewelry.
Jessica was no gate crasher, she was there to support sister Ashlee Simpson’s husband, Evan Ross, who starred in the film.
Other celebrities who made an outstanding impression on the red carpet included model Jessica White, actress Willow Shields, Meta Goulding, Patina Miller, Amy Paffrath, Bianca Santos and Erika Bierman.
If there was one overall theme for the night it was retro glamour. So many stars chose designs that exuded Old Hollywood style and glamour from the Golden-era of films.
