It will be interesting to see what Dr. Phil, a former psychologist (not even a psychiatrist), concludes about Cosby’s behavior.
Phil, full name Phil McGraw, is known for tough love prescriptions when dealing with the usual flotsam that appears on his show. It will be interesting to see how he calls the Cosby situation.
Cosby, through his tough-talking lawyer Marty Singer, has consistently denigrated the allegations against America’s beloved comedian and the woman who are making them.
But the alleged victims are too numerous and their stories are all eerily similar. Cosby spent most of his career stalking young women, drugging them into unconsciousness and having his way with them… whatever that was.
Although Lisa’s allegations are new, they are already familiar. She met Cosby in 1988, after her modeling agency called and said the comedian wanted to meet with her.
It all seemed so innocent at first. “He was a gentleman and he was respectful and kind and he seemed very interested in me and that made me feel very secure in seeing him again,” she recounted.
“He was the Jello pudding man, he was everyone’s dad,” she added.
She said Cosby even met her mother and her sister and charmed the pants (well, not literally) off of them. “My mother trusted Bill completely,” Lisa said in a show preview.
Then, Cosby dropped the hammer on her. He invited her to his hotel room to “run lines” and offered her a drink to “help relax her.”
“He said that this was going to relax me so that the lines would flow out a lot easier. So I had to drink it. He made a second drink and had me drink the second drink as well,” she said.
She became dizzy and the last thing she remembers is Cosby inviting her to sit down on the floor between his legs. He started stroking her hair… then blackness. She said she woke up two days later in her bed with no recollection of the evening.
Dr. Phil will also host six othe accusers on the show, so it doesn’t look good for the Jello Pudding man.
Dr. Phil’s show airs today (Dec. 19). Check out the clip below, let us know your thoughts and be sure to follow IM on Twitter for the latest on the Cosby case.
