Taylor Swift wasn’t so swift last night (Dec. 31) as she tried to negotiate a stairway from the stage after her performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” Let’s just say she went down hard.

The 25-year-old singer has had one of those years in her career where she could have walked on water if she put her mind to it.

But Swift proved she was all too human after she stumbled into 2015. Taylor seemed preoccupied by the throngs of screaming fans straining to capture her on their smart phones.

As he made her way down the stairs, she suddenly disappeared. Her hair went flying and Taylor was caught in one fan video struggling to steady herself with the railing.

She bounced back almost as quickly and regained her footing. If she was injured she didn’t show it. She bounded back on stage and joined Ryan Seacrest for the final countdown to 2015.

Taylor put on a flawless performance in front of nearly one million people packed into Times Square to usher in the New Year. In a fitting tribute to her new home she sang “Welcome to New York,” off her latest album 1989.

She also sang her hit, “Shake it Off”

Check out the video below. There’s no question Taylor is a true trouper who went on with the show.
