Shailene Woodley’s got ’em, but to her they’re “just boobs,” she says in a new interview, expressing her enlightened “European” view of sex and nudity. And she doesn’t even think about doing sex scenes with her clothes on.

Woodley doesn’t just talk the talk. She had a couple of major nude scenes in her indie flick “White Bird in a Snow Storm.”

Shailene Woodley Shocking Claim: Girls Pressure Girls to Lose Virginity

“I’m totally comfortable with nudity,” she tells the UK edition of Glamour magazine.

“I’m not sure it empowers me as an actress or anything, but if I’m going to do a movie with sex scenes, then I’m going to be naked, because I don’t know about you, but I don’t have sex with bras and panties on,” she adds.

And to prove it, she poses in a topless shot for the magazine, but artfully covers her bare chest with her arms. Still, it’s an arresting photo.

Her enlightened outlook comes from Europe, where she believes people are more casual an accepting of nudity. Indeed, it’s much more prevalent in magazines and even on billboards.

“You go to a topless beach and the dudes aren’t checking out your tits, because they’re just boobs.” she says. (We wouldn’t go quite that far, but point made.)

She also thinks more needs to be done in schools to teach kids about sex, and not just abstinence. Sex education in the U.S. is definitely spotty.

Only 22 states and the District of Columbia mandate education about sex and most include HIV/AIDS information, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

In contrast, 37 states require abstinence to be part of the curriculum and 25 states make abstinence the core of their programs.

Sex is everywhere in the United States, but just “not talked about,” she says.

Woodley will next appear in the “Divergent” sequel “Insurgent,” which hits theaters Mar. 20.
