Kristen Stewart reveals more about herself than even she may have realized in a new interview. She provides the most tantalizing clue yet for her breakup with “Twilight” boyfriend Robert Pattinson. It’s starting to make sense now.

Stewart knowingly or unknowingly dropped the big hint during an interview with CR Fashion Book.

How Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Betrayed Twilight Fans

They dated for almost four years. During that time, Rob and Kristen were absolutely silent about the nature or the depth of their relationship.

What we do know is, it came crashing down with her cheating scandal in July 2012.

As they say, love isn’t built on looks alone. A strong psychic connection ultimately is more important, and that may have been lacking.

Kristen revealed as much when she was asked what turns her on. Her reply seemingly filled in a blank about their relationship.

“For me, the most attractive thing in a person is drive – genuine, impulse expressed for the sake of it, not for perception,” she said.

That doesn’t exactly sound like Rob. In fact, it sounds more like just the opposite.

If anything, Rob is a laid-back take-it-as-it-comes kind of guy. He has never come across as the hard-charging, driven type. He’s very deliberative, not all that focused, and likes things low key.

“Kristen is very focused on being an actress,” Pattinson said in a revealing Vanity Fair interview in 2011. “I mean, that’s what she is—she’s an actress. Whereas I—I just don’t really know.”

Such indecision and waffling, typical of the “Twilight” hunk, may have ultimately frustrated her.

In contrast, it makes sense that Kristen fell for someone like “Snow White and the Huntsman” Director Rupert Sanders.

He was a take-charge guy, older, more sure of himself and very passionate about his work. He probably came on to her hard, and they probably shared a lot of intimate times talking about the film as their romance blossomed.

Stewart also gets off on the intensity of her work.

“I love putting myself through hell and really experiencing that pain. That’s when I feel the most fulfilled, when at the end I feel like I’ve slaughtered myself. And it’s so worth it.

At the same time, CR Fashion Book Editor Carine Roitfeld said Kristen is also very shy, personally. “If she does not know you, sometimes she is very insecure,” she says. “She is quite shy at the beginning, you know.”

It sounds like she has almost a passive-aggressive personality, to the point of being a submissive individual who expresses her inner aggressive nature through her film work.

She might be better off with Christen Grey, rather than Robert Pattinson.
