No need to feel odd or ashamed about staring. These days, Miley is revealing herself to promote social causes near and dear to her heart.
She’s flaunting her tight body to help promote her Happy Hippy Foundation, a non-profit group that provides outreach and support for LGBT teens. So look all you want.
Miley is the latest celebrity to appear semi-nude on the magazine’s cover. She follows Kim Kardashian, who revealed her world-famous derriere on the cover last September.
Kim’s cover line was “break the internet.” Miley’s cover line is “use your voice.” Get it? It means not only to sing, but also to promote her pet social causes.
She decided to become a Vegan last year in the middle of her Bangerz Tour and is an outspoken animal rights advocate, according to the mag.
Miley decided to get more active in LBGT issues following the death last year of Leelah Alcorn, a transgender girl who committed suicide following so-called “conversion therapy.”
But she hasn’t stopped there. She’s also an advocate for the homeless. You may recall, she sent homeless man Jesse Helt, 22, on stage to pick up her MTV Video Music award for best video of the year (Wrecking Ball).
“I can’t drive by in my fucking Porsche and not fucking do something. I see it all day: people in their Bentleys and their Rolls and their Ubers, driving past these vets who have fought for our country, or these young women who have been raped. I was doing a show two nights ago, and I was wearing butterfly nipple pasties and butterfly wings. I’m standing there with my tits out, dressed like a butterfly. How the fuck is that fair? How am I so lucky?”
Miley also makes clear what she’s hinted at for years; she swings both ways. In fact, she first told her mom, Tish, about her feelings for women when she was 14, she says.
“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.”
These days, Miley is about more than doing what feels good. She also wants to do what feels right.
Unfortunately, her photos are a little too risque for this site. (We know, hypocritical). But you can see them at EssCurve, which is all about beautiful people.
